FAQ

What accessibility features are available in Trados Studio?

Studio offers many accessibility features, such as the option to adjust font size in the editor, keyboard shortcuts to avoid using the mouse, dictation in the online editor and the ability to scale the user interface in the cloud and, to a more limited extent, in the desktop application.

In addition, with the launch of Studio 2024, we have enabled screen reader support, allowing visually impaired users to complete a project roundtrip with ease. Users can leverage screen reading software to access and interpret key features and screens in the Studio desktop application – specifically, the ribbon, project wizard, Manager view and the desktop editor. Currently, Studio 2024 offers support for JAWS, NVDA and Windows built-in "Narrator".

With the improvements made to Studio 2024, it’s already the most accessible feature-rich CAT tool on the market – and we’re not done yet. Our aim is to make Studio as accessible as possible. If you have any suggestions on how we can better improve our accessibility, please leave your feedback here.
