FAQ

Will older versions of Trados Studio still be supported?

Trados Studio 2024 is the fully supported release of Trados Studio.

We continue to support Studio 2022 and 2021 as the limited support releases.

However, please note that support for Studio 2021 will end on 31st December 2024, at which point it will enter a retired state. Services covered under standard maintenance agreements – including technical support and new patches – will no longer be available. In addition, access to Trados Studio’s cloud capabilities will end, so you may want to export any data you wish to keep from the cloud, plus you will no longer be able to work with cloud projects sent from Trados Team, Trados Accelerate or Trados Enterprise online. Projects can, however, continue to be downloaded and worked on in the Studio editor offline, without access to cloud resources.

Trados Studio 2019, 2017, 2015, 2014, 2011 and 2009 are in retired state and are no longer supported. RWS does not provide technical assistance, license resets, issue service packs or hotfixes for these retired releases.
